I'm surprised that there is this much buzz. Really who cares about more storage when most players have completed every campaign and have no reason to collect anymore junk. At this point GW1 is mostly irrelevant to players who have played all the content. Making huge changes to a game after most of the fan base is bored/burnt out on content they have completed ages ago is not going to get anyone excited. Its nice that Anet cares and still updates the game, but its not going to get anyone to do more than log in, rearrange their HoM, and log back out.

legendary guardian, 8 away from legendary vanquisher, and I want more storage...just because you complete the storylines doesn't mean the game is over. There is much more to it than that. Collections, completion of goals, just playing and having fun. Seeing how many rare things you can get. All of this takes space, especially since people don't buy nearly as much as they sell.

You might want to edit your post to make it more accurate by replacing all the nouns and pronouns referring to "other players" with "me". Projection of your own opinions on to the rest of the playerbase doesn't exactly work.

More storage appeals to people like me who're fond of collecting stuff.

Yeah, especially for people like me who have at least three armor sets for every char, even some mules. Not to mention all the crap I've accumulated over four years.

Account-based changes to the Hall of Monuments

This makes me wonder about Armor. Warriors have an extra armor set that can be added to the Hall. Since the September 28, 2007 game update, this armor (Silver Eagle Armor) set can be added to the Hall of Monuments.

Does this mean I now need to make a warrior to have all armors in HoM? I feel a little cheated, ha! I guess I should have seen this coming a while ago..

all you need are 5 prestige armors to get the maximum benefit of the HOM. Nobody's forcing you to collect every possible set.

Who's Eli by the way? It doesn't say on her journal page.

I was thinking this...
User:Linsey Murdock/FAQ
Q: Who is Bahltek and what is his purpose?
A: Only time will tell when it comes to Bahltek. I'm going to chose to be as mysterious as he on this one.

He's coming...
He's coming...
He's coming..

Of course, i could be way wrong because I'm not sure who Eli is

Read the dialogue of bahltek in game, it's very interesting...

Sorry, I was being silly -- it's an old Three Dog Night song.

~Eli's coming~
~Eli's coming~

I have no idea who is coming really.

Maybe it's a dragon...

I am quite sure this update has something to do with storage for multiple armor sets. Maybe books too.

For multiple armor sets, maybe a mechanism like what we have for heroes elite armor. You can switch them back and forth.

It is also strange that by Thursday night, they have not announced what the weekend event would be. Normally, they would have announced it by Wednesday. There is hope...maybe they are testing it at the final phases right now to be sure the update would work well.

The "petting zoo" as I now call it, is awesome and unexpected. Props to the folks who designed it. It looks nice from the video and I can't wait to check it out in game.

It really does sound like a bad joke :/ shame it is not a late april fools

The idea is great but the one time only extra storage tab sounds like lots of people will miss out once again on something and having to pay for it is not what i was expecting (Although i do understand the need for it to be a sale item)
